Many BigRoad users ask me how to access their logs for the past 14 days. But did you know you can access all the logs you’ve created as far back as 7 months? While the BigRoad app holds the current day plus the prior 14 days of logs to be edited, the BigRoad web app stores six months plus the current month. In case of an audit, you can access all your logs with the click of a button. To access your older logs, sign into your account at BigRoad.com. This is just one of the many things you may not know are available to you from the web app.
This year was a big year for BigRoad as we finally got clarification that BigRoad could be used as a replacement for paper logs.

One of the questions I am often asked regarding the BigRoad trucking app is, “why haven’t I received my 34-hour reset”? Users will be off for 34 hours but their 60 or 70 hour clock doesn’t reset and they feel short handed from their time.
As of July 1, 2013, the truck driver hours of service regulations were changed to include three main rules that govern 34-hour resets. I am going to go over these renewed rules so that you will no longer be confused and become a cycle-reset expert!
Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs) have taken another step towards becoming a reality. Back in March, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) announced that they would be mandating the use of ELDs. Now the FMCSA is reviewing the registration process for approved devices with potential vendors (like BigRoad), which means they are well on their way to finalizing this rule.
