Webinar: Transitioning to ELDs

We are 18 months out from the effective date of the ELD mandate when most commercial drivers in the United States are going to be require to use an electronic logging device to create their driver logs. While this may sound like a lot of time it is becoming more and more important that fleets start to earnestly plan what their transition plan will be.
With this in mind BigRoad recently ran Transitioning to ELD | What Are Your Next Steps? a webinar designed to help fleet operators and drivers alike plan for the future. We have found in many of our conversations about ELDs that there is a lot of misinformation still being passed around. From who qualifies to be exempt to what the specifications for an ELD are, we answer some of the most common questions and concerns about the mandate. You can watch a recording of the webinar below.

A lot of the time it is the simple misconceptions that cause the big mistakes. This is particularly true when it comes to Hours of Service. HOS rules are complicated at the best of times and can be a nightmare if you aren’t familiar with them. This is why we are running our multi-session HOS webinar series.
Hours of Service rules can be difficult to traverse, even when a driver is only following a single rule set. This is complicated further when a driver is moving between rule sets.
