The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance’s (CVSA) International Roadcheck will take place on June 4-6 this year. Over the 3-day period period, CVSA Inspectors at Truck Inspection Stations, Lay-By’s and other locations throughout North America will conduct inspections on commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) and drivers.
At the beginning of June this year, Department of Transportation (DOT) in the U.S. and Ministry of Transportation (MTO) in Canada held a national Roadcheck event. I ventured out bright and early to visit the Oakville South Truck Inspection Station in Oakville, Ontario.
The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) conducted their 29th annual International Roadcheck program from June 7-9, 2016. During this 72-hour period, 10,000+ CVSA-certified inspectors conducted inspections across North America with a special emphasis placed on tire safety. The results for Canada have been released – check out the infographic below for details. Results for the United States are expected in September.
