BigRoad’s teams are continuing to ramp up! As more drivers and fleets choose BigRoad to achieve electronic logging device (ELD) and hours-of-service (HOS) compliance, we’ve expanded our Customer Support Team to ensure BigRoad’s customers continue to receive the high level of support we’re known for. 

Meet Your Customer Support Representatives

The BigRoad Customer Support Team is critical to supporting our customers on the road. Our Support Representatives are here Monday to Friday from 8:00AM to 8:00PM to assist you with any questions you have about our product, the industry, rules, and regulations. And now, the team is bigger and better than ever! 

We’ve added Travis, our Manager of Customer Support, to steer the ship. We’re also introducing multilingual support to ensure all of our customers are able to get the assistance they need.

Q. How long have you been at BigRoad?
A. A short time, but it feels like a long time! BigRoad is like a close-knit family and I have been welcomed with open arms. I am so impressed with everyone’s willingness to collaborate and get things done!  Especially when it comes to our Customers.  My Support Team here is fabulous, and I am lucky to have inherited such a great group of individuals that offer our customers incredible service and support. 

Q. Where did you come from before BigRoad?
A. I was at another software organization called D2L. They grew from a small company to a major competitor in their market. I was given so many opportunities to enhance their service offering to customers with great success. I am also super excited to bring my experience and past achievements to BigRoad. 

Q. What do you like to do in your spare time?
A. There are so many things I enjoy in my life! I love spending time with my wife,  son, and my two miniature schnauzers. I enjoy cooking, fishing, gardening, travel, music, comics… the list goes on! I also love that I have the opportunity to volunteer as a soccer and hockey coach – it’s so rewarding! 

Q. What’s your favourite part of leading the Customer Success Team at BigRoad?
A. Serving our customers! I have family that have been in the trucking industry their entire lives. It’s personal to me – I have seen first hand how tough a job that is, and if there is anything we can do to make things easier for our customers, I want to do that. I love leading the Support Team as well – their passion and engagement with our customers is second to none. They really go that extra mile to help and I’m so impressed by their dedication.    

Q. What languages does your team support?
A. It’s really an exciting time here at BigRoad. As we look to grow and expand into other areas around the world, we wanted to be able to offer support in languages that some of our customers are more comfortable with. Currently we are planning on offering both French and Spanish support through email, phone and chat. Again, it’s so important to make it easy for our Customers when they need help.

Q. How long have you been at BigRoad?
A. I’ve been here since July this year, but I already feel at home!

Q. Where did you come from before BigRoad?
A. Before BigRoad, I helped British car owners find the right parts for their cars, and before that, I helped patients who were in pain find care and support. Customer care and support have always been a focal point throughout my employment. 

Q. What do you like to do in your spare time?
A. 
I write! Most recently, I made the CBC Short Story Prize longlist for short fiction. Other than that, I’m passionate about cars – I can be found most weekends working on my FRS or going for long drives, just for fun!

Q. What’s your favourite part working on the Customer Support Team at BigRoad?
A. Definitely my coworkers! My team is amazing and incredibly supportive. Plus, I love hearing trucking stories from our customers.

Q. What languages do you support?
A. I offer English support to our customers.

Q. How long have you been at BigRoad? 
A. I’m the newest on the team, I just started last week!

Q. Where did you come from before BigRoad?
A. 
Before I started here at BigRoad, I worked in Customer Success at AO Smith, located in Fergus, Ontario. 

Q. What do you like to do in your spare time?
A. I am part of a team of fundraisers called Chaos for Canines. We raise funds throughout the year, at the end of every year we present a live wrestling show and give our annual donation to our benefactor, which for the last 2 years has been Dog Tales Rescue and Sanctuary. 

Q. What’s your favourite part working on the Customer Success Team at BigRoad?
A. 
I haven’t been working at BigRoad for very long, but I would have to say my associates as they are extremely helpful in showing me the ropes around here!

Q. What languages do you support?
A. 
I can support our customers in both English and in French.

Q. How long have you been at BigRoad? 
A. I started at BigRoad in May of this year.

Q. Where did you come from before BigRoad?
A. Before joining the team here, I was a Dispatcher at Waste Management for a year. Before that, I was at Rogers Communications where I held several different positions, all with a hand in customer support!

Q. What do you like to do in your spare time?
A. In my spare time I love to do photography.  My favourite thing to photograph is people!

Q. What’s your favourite part working on the Customer Success Team at BigRoad?
A. We bring lunch in on Wednesdays, and the snack cupboard is always stocked, so I’d have to say the food…just kidding! My favourite part of being on the Support Team is everyone that I work with. The team is amazing, and so dedicated to helping our customers. 

Q. What languages do you support?
A. I can support our customers in English.

Our Customer Support Team is still growing! We are looking to add Spanish language support shortly, so stay tuned for more updates! Know someone who’d be a good fit? Have them apply for a role. For those of you who had the pleasure of connecting with Anna or Julie in the past, they’re still here. Both ladies have joined our new Customer Training Team to help get fleets set up with BigRoad.
