September 30th, and the final ruling mandating electronic logging devices (ELD), is quickly approaching. Is your fleet prepared?
Although there will be a two-year period before compliance to the new ruling, carriers are planning their move to electronic logging today. You can benefit now from improved CSA scores, hours of service compliance and operating costs, and it’s become easier than ever to get started.
However, making the shift to an ELD solution is not as obvious as picking a product off the shelf. There are many factors that need to be considered before purchase and implementation across a fleet.
This was the focus in our latest webinar – Getting Ready for ELD. During this jam-packed session we covered a lot of ground. The presentation showed:
- What driver log options are available today
- How an ELD compares to today’s electronic logs
- When the mandate applies
- Who the mandate applies to
- What the mandate means to your business
- What to look for when looking for an ELD
- How to make the transition once you have chosen an ELD
We’d like to thank everyone who was able to participate for the great questions you sent in. Although we covered most of your concerns during the Q&A period, the amount of questions we recieved was overwhelming. We’ll have another blog post ready for you soon, where we will dive deeper into all your questions. Stay tuned.
